Two options available for air release:
Heated puncture needle – Heated pins melt through the film, creating clean holes without film debris. The melted edge around each hole provides added tear resistance, preventing further tearing during stacking and handling. Ensures consistent hole size and shape for reliable performance. A slight solidified bump remains around each hole.
Blade slitting – Sharp blades make small slits on the film for air release. The film surface remains smooth with no bumps. Simple and reliable structure with low maintenance cost.
Both options effectively release trapped air, ensuring cups nest tightly for stable stacking while maintaining protective coverage. Please select your preferred option.
